The Bible is God's Direct Voice to His people:
In order to grow spiritually and draw closer to God, we have to read His letters to us. The Word of God is a "magical" book that ministers and speaks directly into our lives. It is culturally relevant for every generation and it's methods always work. They may not always be easy, but they work!
You will become sensitive to the voice of God when you open the pages of His Word and seek to understand.
Reading the Bible births and produces FAITH in us:
Romans 10:17 states, "Faith comes (produced, birthed) by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God." Faith is transmitted into our soul when we read and study God's Word. Its a supernatural work! God's Word is living and powerful (Hebrews 4:12) and releases faith to believe God for miracles and answers to prayer. It produces the faith we need to live for Him.

God becomes REAL to us and reveals Himself through His Word:
"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word WAS GOD." (John 1:1)
You will develop a deeper relationship with the Lord through reading His Word. It will take you to a place where prayer alone cannot take you as it reveals the character and heartbeat of God.
He will no longer be a "God afar off" but He will become real, close and intimate with you through His Word.
Learning the Importance of an every day prayer life:
An intimate, consistent relationship with God is the anchor that will hold you in times of storms.
We will learn how to pray and talk to God when we set aside alone time with Him in our day. We will learn how to talk our hearts and how to connect with the Lord on a deeper level.

God's Word Keeps us from sin:
"Thy Word have I hid in my heart, that I might not sin against Thee." (Psalm 119:11)
As you treasure and make God's Word a priority in your life and allow the words on the pages to have access to your heart, His Word will renew your mind and keep you from sin. This is the "washing of water with the Word" that is spoken of in Ephesians 5:25-27.
