The Groups
"That you and I may be mutually encouraged by each other's faith" (Romans 1:12)
The Very Reason you don't WANT to be in a small group, is the very reason you NEED to be in a small group.

Growth
Groups
Why are they important?
"If you want to become healthy, you have to surround yourself with a group of people that are getting healthy and you have to be connected to a community that is doing what you want to do."
- Dr. Henry Cloud

You cannot grow spiritually unless you connect relationally. Why is this true?
Knowing the good and bad parts of ourselves, our strengths and our weaknesses, our talents and giftings, the deep parts of the core of who we are cannot just come from information from books or classes.
Relationships with other people are absolutely essential to increase our self-awareness.
You NEED PEOPLE who think differently than you, who challenge your SELF-CENTEREDNESS (we all have it), who teach you to be generous and think of others.
Give God 12
For the twelve weeks we are giving to God, we will all be a part of a small group that will consist of 8-10 ladies per group. This will become your share group, your prayer group, and will be appointed a leader who will facilitate the weekly meetings on Sundays.

Groups Offer Accountability
When we are open with others and are willing to be real, transparent, and allow others to encourage and strengthen us, we learn so much about ourselves that we otherwise would not know. We are accountable to being consistent in our commitment to God for the twelve weeks when we know we have others who are doing the same thing.
Groups offer a sense of belonging that builds TRUST and FRIENDSHIP
When we trust others, we feel safe enough to let go of things that shame tells us we need to hide. This is a safe place to confront struggles that are holding you back from growing spiritually. The more you involve other people in your life who are spiritually hungry at the same time, the more you will grow!
